Festival of Lights, Diwali 2026
Diwali Catering for Southern California Celebrations
Heritage Flavors. Contemporary Dining.

Diwali is the one night the whole family, the whole office, or the whole community sits down together, and the food has to carry the evening. Rasoi Catering, led by Chef Ray from our San Dimas kitchen, caters Diwali dinners at home, office Diwali parties, and temple and community celebrations across the San Gabriel Valley, greater Los Angeles, and Orange County: chaat to start, festive vegetarian mains, biryani for the crowd, and a table of mithai to close the Festival of Lights.
Why families and offices book Rasoi for Diwali
- Vegetarian forward, by design. Puja night menus lean vegetarian, with satvik, vegan, and Jain friendly options on request and meat dishes for the rest of the weekend.
- Seven menus to build from. Mix North Indian, South Indian, Gujarati, Fusion, and global cuisine dishes so every guest, from grandparents to coworkers, finds something they love.
- Live stations for bigger nights. Chaat, dosa, grill, naan, and a jalebi station frying sweets to order for celebrations of 100 guests or more.
- Delivered hot, set up cleanly. Drop-off trays or full service with staff, so you host the evening instead of running the kitchen.

Diwali catering questions
How far in advance should I book Diwali catering?
Four to six weeks ahead is ideal. Diwali 2026 falls on Sunday, November 8, and the weekends on either side are the first dates to fill. Smaller drop-off orders can sometimes be placed closer to the date, so call if your event is soon.
Do you offer a fully vegetarian or satvik Diwali menu?
Yes. Most Diwali menus we cater are vegetarian, and we can build fully satvik menus without onion or garlic, plus vegan and Jain friendly dishes, on request. Meat dishes can be added for other nights of the celebration.
Can you cater a Diwali party at my office?
Yes. We deliver individually packaged meals or buffet trays to offices across the San Gabriel Valley, greater Los Angeles, and Orange County, set up cleanly and on time, with mithai boxes available for the team.
Do you provide mithai and Indian sweets for Diwali?
Yes. Gulab jamun, kheer, shrikhand, and jalebi fried live at our jalebi station are all on the Diwali menu, and we can build a dedicated sweets table for larger celebrations.
Is there a minimum guest count for Diwali catering?
Drop-off orders start at 20 guests. Live cooking stations, including the chaat and jalebi stations, are available for celebrations of 100 guests or more.
Which areas do you serve for Diwali events?
Rasoi is based in San Dimas and caters Diwali events across the San Gabriel Valley, greater Los Angeles, the Inland Empire border cities, and Orange County, including San Dimas, Glendora, La Verne, Covina, West Covina, Pomona, Diamond Bar, Claremont.
